Kadai Paneer Gravy Recipe Ingredients:
- Paneer – 100 Grams
- Onion –1, chopped in cubes
- Capsicum – 1, chopped in cubes
- Tomatoes – 2, diced
- Cumin Seeds – 1 tablespoon
- Oil – 3-4 tablespoon
- Bay Leaf – 1
- Black Pepper Seeds – 4-5
- Cinnamon – 1
- Green Cardamom – 2
- Fresh Cream – 2 Tablespoon (optional)
- Salt – 1 tablespoon
- Red chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
- Coriander Powder – tablespoon
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ Tablespoon
- Kasuri methi – ½ Tablespoon
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 Tablespoon
Kadai Paneer Gravy Recipe Preparation:
✅ Marinate the paneer cubes, add the paneer in the bowl. Add ½ tablespoon salt, ½ lemon juice, and ½ tablespoon red chilli powder. Mix them well. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
✅ Heat the oil in the pan. Shallow fry the paneer till they get crispy from outside.
✅ Take them in a bowl; now fry the capsicum to remove the raw taste of it.
✅ In the same oil, fry the onions for 2 minutes and take them in a bowl.
✅ In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon oil heat it and add 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, 4-5 black pepper seeds, and 1 cinnamon in it.
✅ Add half the quantity of onions that we have fried, and 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste. Mix well, and stir it for 1-2 minutes,
✅ Add roughly chopped tomatoes, mix well. Allow them to cook till the tomatoes get tender.
✅ Cover the lid, and cook.
✅ Now allow the mixture to cool. Put them in the mixer and grind.
✅ Sieve it and make fine gravy.
✅ Again, heat the oil in the pan. Add 1 bay leaf; add 2 cardamoms and 1 tablespoon red chilli powder. Mix well. Drop the gravy in the spices. Also, add 1 tablespoon coriander powder and ¼ tablespoon turmeric powder. Add 1 tablespoon salt, or as per taste. Mix well.
✅ Cover the pan, and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Add fresh cream in it. (this is optional)
✅ Add capsicum and onion; cook it for 2-3 minutes.
✅ Finally, add paneer cubes, and cook it for 1 minute. Do not overcook, otherwise, paneer will become soggy.
✅ Garnish it with kasuri methi, and the recipe is ready to serve.
✅ Serve it with salad, chutney, naan, rice, or parantha.
