Carbquik recipes are a lifesaver for those on the keto diet or those just looking to consume fewer carbs.

What is Carbquik?

Carbquik is a biscuit baking mix that is designed for those who want to consume fewer carbs. It works just as regular flour does but contains about 80% fewer carbs. It is a blessing for people on keto as it can be used to make other carb-heavy items like pancakes, waffles, biscuits, bread, etc which is not permitted on the keto diet. With carbquik, all these delicious foods can be eaten guilt-free.

Carbquik pancakes

Ingredients:
  • Carbquik 1 cup
  • Heavy cream ¼ cup
  • Water ½ cup
  • Butter 1/2 stick
  • Egg 1
  • Oil spray
Directions:
  1. Start by Beating the egg until it is fluffy and set it aside.
  2. Now place the butter into a bowl and microwave it until it has melted and set it aside.
  3. To this bowl, add in the carbquik, heavy cream, water, and egg.
  4. Mix it together until it is well combined.
  5. Spray a little bit of the oil spray on a hot pan and pour the pancake batter.
  6. Cook until the pancakes turn golden on both sides and the edges have cooked.
  7. Pour some butter or low-carb maple syrup over them and enjoy.

Ingredients:
  • Carbquik 1 ¼ cup
  • Splenda 1 tbsp
  • Beaten egg 1
  • Heavy cream ¼ cup
  • Water ¼ cup
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda 1 tsp
Equipment needed:
  • Waffle maker
Directions:
  1. Preheat the waffle maker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add in the carbquik, baking soda, and the Splenda and mix well.
  3. Combine the beaten egg and heavy cream in a smaller bowl and set it aside.
  4. Pour the egg and cream mixture into the bowl containing the carbquik.
  5. Add in the water, vanilla extract, and oil and mix well.
  6. Pour the batter into the waffle maker and let it cook for 5 mins.
  7. Serve with a topping of your choice.

Ingredients:
  • Carbquik 2 cups
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1 tsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Ripe bananas 2
  • Sugar alternative ½ cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Greek yogurt ½ cup
  • Almond milk ¼ cup
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Directions:
  1. Start by preheating the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Grease a loaf pan with butter and set it aside.
  3. Place the peeled bananas in a bowl and mash them well.
  4. Now add in the eggs, almond milk, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt and mix well, and set it aside.
  5. In another bowl, add in the carbquik, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and the sugar alternative and mix well.
  6. Pour the egg mixture into this bowl and mix so that it is well incorporated.
  7. Now transfer this mixture to the greased loaf pan and bake for 45 mins at least.
  8. Let it cool, then slice the banana bread and serve.

Ingredients:
  • Carbquik 2 cups
  • Dill 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Paprika 2 tsp
  • Garlic powder 2 tsp
  • Onion powder 1 tsp
  • Parsley 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Pepper 1 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1 tbsp
Directions:
  1. Take a large bowl and add in the ingredients one by one.
  2. Mix well until it is well combined.
  3. Transfer to an airtight container and use as a breading mix for chicken.

Ingredients:
  • Carbquik 1 ½ cups
  • Warm water ½ cup
  • Active dry yeast 2 ¼ tsp
  • Butter 5 tbsp
  • Sweetener ¼ cup
  • Cinnamon powder ¾ tsp
Directions:
  1. Pour the warm water into a large bowl, add in the sugar and yeast and mix well.
  2. Cover with a towel and allow to rest until it turns frothy.
  3. Now add the carbquik to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Knead for 3 mins until a smooth dough is produced.
  5. Cut the dough into equal pieces and roll it into small balls.
  6. Grease a baking tray and transfer these balls to the baking tray.
  7. Let them rest for at least 15 mins.
  8. Preheat the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 10 mins.
  9. Gently brush melted butter over the dough balls and place in the air fryer and fry for 10 mins.
  10. Remove and let them cool.
  11. Once they are cool, brush them again with melted butter.
  12. In a small bowl, make a mixture of the cinnamon powder and the sweeter and sprinkle over the doughnut holes and serve.
